Because of the water level many caskets in the cemeteries are above ground here in Slidell. In New Orleans many more are above ground. We are 6 foot above sea level and they are 7 foot below. Singing "Under the sea, under the sea."

Sharon ..You're' not where the levey's broke that one year are you? I can't remember exactly where that happened back there .
ReplyDeleteI know when we were coming home from Virginia we passed ALOT of swamp land and we did go through Mississippi. I know it's really wet out that way. I'm sure sure you know a lot more than I do about swamps, water etc.
